This is Alain Indria, aka ‘The Food Wizard’. Our ‘Lombardia-Drinks’ story started in 1972 when Alain’s mother, Odette, opened a small organic diet shop called ‘Lombardia’ in Antwerp, Belgium. After going through his wild years as a pro surfer, Alain returned home and transformed the shop into a funky veggie diner. Today Lombardia is known throughout Europe as a beacon for all lovers of diet foods, organic, vegan and raw delicacies. With this, Alain established himself as a true food-inventor. Because of his sharp instincts en unbridled passion for combining herbs and organic produce, he quickly became a popular choice as private caterer for visiting vegan artists during their stay in Antwerp. Lombardia-Drinks started as an alternative for teas and infusions, and developed into organic Peace & Love drinks. Proof that organic drinks can be rock & roll too !

Alain’s mum and the founding force of all that Lombardia stands for today. In 1972 she was one of the pioneers in the organic diet food industry in Belgium and made sure Alain grew up learning about the wonderful world of organic foods. Even today Odette plays a vital part in the daily operations of Lombardia and Lombardia-Drinks.
Alida is Alain’s wife and the powerful force behind Lombardia-Drinks. Her background as a bio-chemical engineer makes her perfectly suited to run all food-technical aspects of the production process. She is the operations management at Lombardia-Drinks.
Eric is our operational wonder boy and logistics manager. He takes care of everything that includes ordering, transport, storage, and much more… It has become clear Eric is far more capable of multi-tasking then most mere humans. We secretly suspect him to have some extra limbs to be able to accomplish all his tasks. Above all he is always at hand with some wise words of wisdom.
Our experienced sales person on the road! Though she is always on the move, she’s never too busy for a nice chat. Kathleen knows more then most and always delivers. Now that’s what we call going the extra mile!
